A composition carved in a dead but still standing tree is an allegory of environmental pollution. Around the tree trunk, between rings of triumphant Serpent, there are images of legendary motifs and mythological symbols from different cultures, connected with destruction including Satan, Porcupine, Adam and Eve, Red Cat, Ugly Frog and many others.

(The tree died and was carved in Markham).
